First Advantage Celebrates IPO Anniversary and S&P SmallCap 600® Inclusion
In June 2026, First Advantage (FA) celebrated a momentous occasion – five years since the organization became a publicly traded company on the Nasdaq. This anniversary is especially meaningful because it reminds us how far First Advantage has come since the announcement of the initial public offering (IPO). The company has grown and expanded its reach to include a larger number of employees and customers, furthering and accelerating our commitment to building trust in a changing world.
“Five years ago, we took an exciting step forward with our IPO. Today, it’s remarkable to see how far we’ve come. I’m incredibly proud of our journey, from one of the most successful IPOs of 2021 to a market leader defined by innovation, trust, and a strong identity focus. The successful integration of two leading organizations and continued growth in both customers and retention reflect the passion and dedication of our teams. Thank you for making this possible,” said Scott Staples, CEO.
To celebrate, Nasdaq featured the First Advantage brand on the MarketSite tower in Times Square. The video below showcases not only the 5-year IPO anniversary, but also First Advantage’s recent inclusion in the S&P SmallCap 600®.
