Who We Are

From the support of our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), to our supplier partnerships with local businesses and communities, to our customized development programs, we welcome all perspectives, and elevate those who will guide us into a better future for all.
To achieve this mission, a passionate group of volunteers and HR professionals from across the company came together to help build a stronger, more inclusive organization for all employees. Together, they formed a cross-functional Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Committee and leveraged external expertise to identify and implement Communication, Education, Recruitment and Retention initiatives intended to make Diversity & Inclusion a central and lasting part of our corporate culture. Our D&I Committee is sponsored by our executive leadership.
We have implemented an inclusion-focused communications initiative and internal resource site. In addition, we are taking steps to increase the diversity of our technology hires by partnering with minority-focused professional networks and participating in diversity-focused technology career fairs. The company also launched a Black Employee Resource Group to provide support and enhance career development and networking for employees in the United States, United Kingdom and Canada. This group serves as a key thought partner for senior leadership and supports the organization in recruiting and employee retention. A Women’s Employee Resource Group is also currently in development.
First Advantage has a strong and progressive plan in place for ensuring our employees can bring their “whole selves” to work, and we look forward to making additional progress on this plan this year and in the future.
We believe continuous learning is a key part of our growth and satisfaction as human beings. Whether it’s through on-the-job training, leadership development in SOAR, 30k+ custom courses in our Employee Advantage e-learning portal, or our tech workforce programs in Pluralsight, lifelong learning is supported and part of who we are here at First Advantage.
In 2019, the organization implemented a robust training program for front-line and emerging leadership known as SOAR. The SOAR Program is a six-month learning experience designed to empower managers and build leaders. By participating in the program, employees receive the tools they need to effectively manage themselves and their teams while growing as leaders in a fast-paced, technology-driven organization. To-date, the program has trained more than 100+ people managers and positively impacted team members around the globe.
Additionally, all employees have access to Employee Advantage, a training curriculum resource library that houses more than 3,000 modules on a wide variety of topics. Technology employees also have access to improve their skills through Pluralsight, a resource library curated for technologists.
