Sharon Binger

Sharon Binger is a Managing Director, the Deputy Chief Legal Officer, and the Chief Compliance Officer of Silver Lake. In her role, she is deeply engaged in helping to lead all facets of the legal and compliance spectrum at Silver Lake from deal-related and portfolio company legal advising to litigation to firm policymaking, fund formation and risk mitigation. She currently serves on the board of Noam.

Prior to joining Silver Lake, Ms. Binger was at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission where she served as the regional director of the Philadelphia Regional Office administering the Commission’s enforcement and regulatory programs for the Mid-Atlantic region. She began at the SEC in the enforcement division as an attorney and later served as an assistant director of enforcement in the New York office.

Before joining the SEC, Ms. Binger was a senior litigation associate at Willkie Farr & Gallagher in New York. Ms. Binger serves as a member on non-profit boards including as a Board Member of the American Leadership Forum – Silicon Valley. Ms. Binger received her B.A. from Northwestern University and her J.D. with honors from Duke University.
