Every state needs the below in order to title and register a new vehicle
1) Original Certificate of Origin (if cab and chassis need 2nd stage) 2) Copy of the Bill of Sale 3) Original Odometer statement ( if not on Certificate of Origin)

After sending the documents to First Advantage please fill out the contact form.
Please complete the following web form to send your request to our Title Management team.
First Advantage will sign as the "Seller" on your behalf and send the buyer the requested title(s) as instructed
Most states will let you transfer your vehicle from one state IRP account to a different state IRP account without transferring the title as long as the IRP account name is the same as the name on the title. In this case we will need the following
1) Copy of the title (this can be uploaded in the web form below)
The states that require the title to be changed in order to be on that states IRP account are NJ, TX, DE, PA, MD

You will need to provide the title or Copy of the title if IRP not in NJ, TX, DE, PA or MD to First Advantage to complete the transfer.
Once obtained, please mail to First Advantage, Attn: Fleet Vehicle Operations, 11800 Exit Five Parkway, Suite 120, Fishers, IN 46037.
If the vehicle is base plated and staying with in the same state use this form or if the vehicle is IRP plated use this form. If the vehicle is base plated and moving states please go to category Transfer Vehicle to a new state.

Not all states will issue a refund. Please mail plate and/or registration to First Advantage. Upon receiving items, First Advantage will determine if a refund is applicable to be submitted to the state.

To get a title with only the registered owner's name please provide the following
1) Original Title 2) Copy of the Bill of Sale 3) Odometer Reading
There are some states that require other documents to find state-specific requirements see reference link.
To get a clean title only showing the owners name please provide the following
1) Original Title 2) Original Lien release
Note *Lien must be released by leasing institution *Lien release is required for states where the lien is present, but not reflected on the title *It is acceptable to keep the title with the lien signed off
To add a lien to an existing title the state will require the original title.
First Advantage will reach out to you if the state requires any additional information
The GVW of a vehicle is the amount it weighs when it is loaded. In order to lower the GVW on a vehicle, you must wait until the renewal period. To increase the weight on a vehicle just inform First Advantage of the change, by filling out the contact form.
*First Advantage will process 2290 if vehicle weight is increased above 54,999 lbs. *2290 will only be processed by First Advantage if this is a current service provided for your company.
The unladen weight on a vehicle is the amount it weighs unloaded. In order to change this amount on a vehicle, you must have a weight ticket. There may be specific state requirements not listed above - see reference for state-specific requirements.
To increase the weight on a vehicle just inform First Advantage of the change, by filling out the contact form.

If the registration is current, please go to our Fleet Portal and access the Inventory tab. Please select unit, then click on Documents. A drop down will appear for you to click and download a copy of the registration.
If your vehicle's registration has expired, answer YES to the question below, and please utilize the following web form to submit your renewal request to our IRP/Apportioned team.
If you do not have access to the Fleet Portal, please contact your Customer Success Manager (CSM)
If you are unaware of who your CSM is, please answer YES the question below and complete the following web form.
If your vehicle's registration has expired, answer YES to the question below, and please utilize the following web form to submit your renewal request to our Base team.
Requested documents such as copies of Vehicle Inspection Reports and Emissions tests can be provided to our team by uploading in the form below.
Original documents such as titles and Bills of Sale should be mailed to First Advantage, Attn: Fleet Vehicle Operations, 11800 Exit Five Parkway, Suite 120, Fishers, IN 46037
Within the Fleet Portal, please access the Renewal tab.
To verify your renewals please search for your location, then click under Renew section (yes, no, transfer) for each unit requiring a renewal response. Once you have made your selection, click the Save & Submit button.

Within the Fleet Portal, please access the homepage and review renewal dashboards.
