First Advantage partners Yoti and Post Office are certified to deliver UK Digital Identity Services. This certification and partnership mean First Advantage and our customers can provide embedded digital identity services as part of our background screening technology platform. As a result of the partnership with Yoti and Post Office, we are also able to offer an in-person verification service for employees who cannot be verified digitally. 

In February 2022, First Advantage Corporation, a leading provider of technology solutions for screening, verification, safety, and compliance related to human capital, announced the signing of a strategic technology integration partnership with Yoti and Post Office, UK-based digital identity leaders.  

The partnership was formed shortly after the Department for Digital, Culture Media & Sport (DCMS), the Home Office, and the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), confirmed changes to the UK Right to Work and UK DBS checking policies. Employers are now able to replace manual identity verification processes with remote, digital journeys to drive efficiencies, improve the applicant journey and reduce risk, supporting safer recruitment. 

For use cases, like an applicant proving identity as part of a DBS check or a Right to Work check, identity service providers are able to be certified, meeting stringent criteria set out by the government relating to security, data protection, technology, and processes.
