Tom Ellis is Executive Vice President, Global Operations, for First Advantage, where he is responsible for managing the company’s operational initiatives in 200+ countries and territories. Tom is a seasoned executive with extensive cross-functional experience and a track record of success in building and leading high performing organizations on a global scale. Tom initially joined the organization as Vice President, Global Analytics, Business Improvement and Performance Management, in 2016, and his roles have increased in scope and responsibility throughout his tenure with the company.
Prior to joining First Advantage, Tom led multiple change efforts over the course of his career achieving transformational results. Tom was an executive at Nielsen, driving growth in their North American business by taking consumer retail data and creating Consumer Goods insights. In addition to driving growth initiatives, his teams measured performance across Nielsen’s global products and drove global improvement initiatives which best addressed client growth strategy needs for the packaged goods companies across 105 countries. Tom also spent the first 15+ years of his career in consulting, both with product development and client delivery roles at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) before moving to Sapient, a business and digital marketing management consulting firm, where he leveraged consumer behavior and customer segmentation insights to drive client engagement.
Tom received his bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Valparaiso University and his master’s degree in business administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
