David Gamsey joined First Advantage Corporation in 2016 and currently holds the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. In this role, he oversees all aspects of the Company’s accounting, treasury, investor relations, procurement, pricing, and finance activities, both domestically and internationally.

Before joining First Advantage, David served as the Chief Financial Officer at Air Serv Corporation, a global leader in outsourced services to the airline industry. Air Serv was later acquired by ABM Industries (NYSE: ABM) in 2012. Following the acquisition, David was promoted to the role of Chief Operating Officer at Air Serv, where he managed a workforce of over 12,000 employees operating in 44 airports in the United States and the United Kingdom.

David has also held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Beecher Carlson, an insurance brokerage business backed by Austin Ventures, which was later sold to Brown & Brown. In addition, he served as the CFO at Innotrac Corporation, a fulfillment and call center business listed on NASDAQ, and AHL Services, Inc. At AHL Services, David played a pivotal role in its initial public offering and contributed to its growth to $1 billion in revenues and 56,000 employees.

During his various tenures, he managed the acquisition and integration of 40 companies across the United States and Europe. David earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting with distinction from Emory University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

David was named Atlanta’s most outstanding CFO by the CFO Forum in 2022, the city’s premier professional organization for financial leaders, and received the same recognition by The Atlanta Business Chronicle in 2019.
